Running on - Benchmarks...
No post yesterday - simply ran out of time. BUT I did get my weight workout done, so all was good.
I've decided to break my C2FM into 4 weeks segments. At the end of every 4 weeks, I plan on doing a 5K to see how I am progressing. Today, at the end of the first 4 weeks of my challenge, I did my very first non-stop 5K. I won't lie, it was hard. I haven't done a non-stop 5K in many, many months. But I was determined.
And now I have my benchmark.
39:32! (every mile got faster - negative splits are a very good thing)
Today really was all about going the distance without taking any walk breaks, so even though the time is slow, I am very happy with my accomplishment.
Here's to another 4 weeks!
